  • Improvising Compelling Melodies on the Fly (Steve H)
It’s no coincidence that musicians who know a lot of tunes seem to more easily improvise strong melodies. Creating a captivating melody in real time can be easy if there’s a solid architecture to the line. This structure lies within the melodies of the great song writers. We’ll look at these tried and true compositional devices for generating compelling melodies in this information-packed session. (Room 105/106)
